About
Originally developed in 2021 as a board game, Stockplay seeks to introduce people as to how the stock market works in an entertaining way. The board game version is designed to last between 45 minutes to 1 hour at most.
The game features 4 game pieces: A bear, a bull, a shark, and a whale. Also included in the game is a game board, pair of dice, trading cards, drawing cards, a dry erase board, a dry erase marker with an eraser affixed to the tip, game money, and an instruction manual.
Stockplay was not only created in the United States, but it’s also produced and manufactured in the U.S. This helps to keep Americans employed, and at the same time benefits the American economy.
The board game version of Stockplay features 10 fictional companies: BG Associates, Century Solutions, Film Star Corporation, Melrose Max, Omega Entertainment, Rino Tech, Save Smart Wholesalers, Tiffany & Sims, WCQ Lighting, and Zimba Imports. While Stockplay is meant to teach someone about how the market works in general, it isn’t intended to be a precise replica of the market itself and should be utilized for entertainment purposes only.
